Terms of service
Placeholder — to be confirmed by SAMEDAY LPA before launch. The structure below covers the points UK consumer-service terms typically need.
About us
These terms govern the services SAMEDAY LPA provides to you. We are estate planning professionals; we are not a firm of solicitors and we do not provide regulated legal, investment, or tax advice.
Our service
We prepare Lasting Power of Attorney documents, can act as a professional Certificate Provider where appropriate, and submit your documents to the Office of the Public Guardian on your behalf. We do not control the OPG's registration timescales.
What we need from you
You agree to give us accurate, complete information. The validity of your LPA depends on the accuracy of the details you provide and on the documents being signed and witnessed correctly.
Fees and payment
Our fees are confirmed to you before you commit. The Office of the Public Guardian's registration fees are separate and payable to the OPG.
Cancellation and refunds
You can stop the process at any time before you sign your documents. If you have ordered but not yet signed, you will receive a refund of our fees less any planner time already used. OPG fees are not refundable once paid to the OPG.
Liability
We take care to prepare your documents correctly. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is otherwise limited to the fees you have paid us.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, please tell us — our complaints procedure explains how we handle it and the timescales you can expect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
