Privacy policy
Placeholder — to be confirmed by SAMEDAY LPA before launch. The structure below reflects what a UK GDPR-compliant policy needs to cover.
Who we are
SAMEDAY LPA is the data controller for the personal information you share with us. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO reg: ZA000000).
What we collect
When you use our enquiry forms or call us, we collect the details you give us — your name, contact details, postcode, and information about your situation and the Lasting Power of Attorney you need. We also collect limited technical data (such as anonymised analytics) to understand how the site is used.
How we use it
We use your information to contact you about your enquiry, to prepare and submit your LPA documents if you ask us to, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your data.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent for marketing, on the steps necessary to enter and perform a contract with you for our services, and on our legitimate interests in running the business responsibly.
Analytics and cookies
We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across the web and do not set identifying cookies. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to measure advertising, which sets non-essential cookies. You can decline this and the site works exactly the same.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
